Pronóstica Encuentro de personas que habitan y construyen la cultura contemporáneo.
En septiembre de 2003 junto con la artista Aliwalu, celebramos en Ibiza un encuentro con una multitud de artistas y creativos que había conocido personalmente a lo largo de mi vida. Todos ellos tenían un factor en común: desde mi punto de vista, creíamos que estaban desarrollando un proceso interesante que reper-cutía directamente en la cultura de nuestro país.
Durante una semana invitamos a convivir en un ex convento de monjas de clausura a más de cien personajes para que se conocieran, intercambiaran procesos creativos y se divirtieran.
Elena Ruiz, la directora del Museo, fue una perfecta anfitriona. Es de agradecer que se atreviese a correr con los riesgos de docenas de procesos creativos aún por desarrollar. Todos aquellos proyectos pudieron llevarse a cabo gracias a que Elena nos cedió su espacio y el trabajo desinteresado de un montón de voluntarios (Alfonsito, Kio, Sara, Dani...)
Aquí adjunto el texto que escribimos Aliwalu y yo: "Pronostica ante todo es una gran obra de arte sin autoría generada a través de la interacción de muchos artistas, intangible e invisible por su carácter procesual pero visible y didáctica a través de la distancia temporal. Esta obra global compuesta de pequeños fragmentos de piezas y procesos de los participantes, se desarrollara exenta de limites y acotaciones normalmente impuestos en cualquier evento artístico creados para resguardarse de lo que nosotros pretendemos, un resultado final impredecible, aunque eso sí, bajo un mensaje claro de comunicación limpia, hacia nuestro objetivo final exento de adulteraciones ininteligibles: la utilización del arte contemporáneo como herramienta de concienciación y desarrollo, físico, mental y espiritual del ser humano.Pronostica pretende ser el corazón de un nuevo tipo de arte contemporáneo (que ya late) hacia un nuevo tipo de conciencia creativa dirigida a generar un mundo más consciente, en una era de globalización donde ahora mas que nunca es necesaria la conciencia subjetiva y planetaria. Apostamos y actuamos por lo creativo, dejando de lado el arte que se recrea en la angustia, el sufrimiento, el conflicto, lo frívolo y lo destructivo. Pronostica aboga por los procesos de paz, de respeto, de conocimiento exterior e interior, de comunión creadora frente a la capacidad destructora del hombre."

Pronóstica A meeting of people who inhabit and construct contemporary culture
In September 2003, I organised an event in Ibiza with a large number of artists and creators I had met throughout my lifetime. They all had one thing in common: I believed they were carrying out an interesting process that would have a direct effect on culture in our country.
I invited over a hundred people to live in an old convent to get to know one another, compare creative processes and have fun.
Elena Ruiz, the director of the museum, was the perfect hostess. She deserves nothing but praise for daring to accept the challenge of taking on dozens of as yet undeveloped creative processes. All the projects were carried out thanks to Elena's providing us with space.
While working with Amnesty International last year, there came about a paradox made it possible for Pronóstica to materialise. They said they would have no problem in inviting any artist to collaborate in a project. This statement made us consider a couple of elementary things. First, that it was very sad that they should be the ones to look for the artists. Second, that we the artists in most cases are incapable of seeing through socially positive proposals, in spite of the fact that, theoretically speaking, we represent creativity or, rather, change. Thence the idea of setting up Pronóstica. It was to be a meeting of creators who shared a common commitment, giving rise to clear objectives. In Pronóstica we think artists' time has come, the time for people with no creed or flag, who believe in freedom. In fact, rather than believing in it, we live by in it, because there is no such thing as a creative act without freedom. The time has come to use that freedom to do something positive. Contemporary art has always given the impression of being nihilistic, but that is not true. We need only look back over the history of mankind to see that at most periods of injustice, intolerance and xenophobia, man has reacted with cultural movements and artistic manifestations. Pronóstica calls artists from all over the world to show their solidarity with projects and works with which, thanks to their creative force, they can have a positive influence on the development of human society. We advocate maintaining equilibrium with our environment showing respect for all forms of life.
